Dayweave Privacy Policy

Who we are and what Dayweave does
Dayweave is a planning app made by Parker Brown Consulting (“PBC”, “we”). It reads the busy times on calendars you connect and fits your own tasks into the free time around them.
Dayweave is a web app at dayweave.parkerbrownconsulting.io. You sign in with Google, Microsoft, or an email address and password, and what you put into Dayweave is stored on servers PBC runs through its providers.
This policy covers your Dayweave account, the Google and Microsoft Outlook calendars you connect, and everything you enter into Dayweave.
What Dayweave collects
Dayweave collects only what it needs to run your account and plan your week. Its access to your calendars is read-only: it never creates, changes or deletes anything in them.
| What | Where it comes from | Why Dayweave needs it |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address, plus your name and profile picture link if you sign in with Google or Microsoft | Your sign-up, or the Google or Microsoft sign-in | To create and identify your account |
| Your password, stored only as a one-way hash by our sign-in provider | Email sign-up | To let you sign in. Nobody, including PBC, can read it |
| Your calendars, tasks, working hours and timezone | What you enter in Dayweave, and your browser’s timezone setting | To plan your week |
| Names and colors of your connected calendars | The connected account’s list of calendars | So you can choose which calendars count |
| Title, start time and end time of each busy event | Only the calendars you switch on (just the account’s main calendar at first) | To plan your tasks around those times |
| Sign-in tokens for your connected calendar accounts | Google or Microsoft, when you connect an account | To keep reading your calendars without asking you to sign in each time |
Dayweave reads events from the start of last week to six weeks ahead. It skips events marked as free, invitations you declined and cancelled events.
Google’s calendar service also sends other event details, such as descriptions, locations and guest lists. Dayweave discards them without storing or using them.
How Dayweave uses it
Dayweave uses your data for one purpose: running your account and planning your day around the time you’ve already committed.
- Your busy events appear in Dayweave’s Today and Week views.
- Dayweave treats those times as unavailable when it places your tasks.
- Your email address receives account messages only: confirming your address and resetting your password.
Your data is never used for advertising, never used to build a profile of you, and never used to train AI or machine-learning models. No one at PBC reads your calendar data unless you ask us to help with a problem, or we must in order to keep the service secure or comply with the law.
Dayweave’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where it’s stored and how it’s protected
Dayweave stores your data in the United States, encrypted both in transit and at rest.
- Your account and plans are kept in a database run for PBC by Supabase, in its US West (Oregon) region. The database is encrypted at rest.
- The app itself runs on Vercel’s servers in the United States.
- Sign-in tokens for connected calendars are encrypted a second time by Dayweave, with a key only the app holds, before they’re stored.
- Each account’s data is kept apart. Every request is checked against the signed-in account, and the database refuses all access from outside the app.
- Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider, Supabase Auth; Dayweave never sees them. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, you do it on their own page.
- All communication with Dayweave, Google and Microsoft is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Your browser keeps your sign-in session in its local storage. While you connect a calendar, Dayweave sets one short-lived cookie to confirm the connection started in your browser. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Who else handles your data
PBC does not sell or rent your data, and doesn’t use it for advertising. It is handled only by the providers that run Dayweave for us, each under its own security and privacy terms:
| Provider | What it does for Dayweave |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Stores your account and plans, and handles sign-in |
| Vercel | Runs the app |
| Google and Microsoft | Provide the calendars you connect, and sign-in if you choose them |
| Our email delivery provider | Sends account emails, such as address confirmations and password resets |
Your calendar data and tasks are never sent to any AI service; Dayweave’s time estimates are worked out by Dayweave itself. We would disclose your data to anyone else only if the law required it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is open, and you can remove any of it at any time.
- Switch a calendar off in Dayweave, and its events are deleted from Dayweave straight away.
- Disconnect a calendar account, and Dayweave deletes that account’s events, calendar list and sign-in tokens. For Google accounts it also asks Google to revoke Dayweave’s access.
- Revoke access from your account settings at any time: Google, Microsoft personal accounts, or Microsoft work or school accounts.
- Delete your Dayweave account by emailing parker@parkerbrownconsulting.io from the address on the account. We delete the account and everything in it within 30 days.
While a calendar is connected, Dayweave checks it for changes every five minutes, and edits or deletions you make there show up at the next check. Past events stay in your account until you switch that calendar off, disconnect it, or delete your account. Deleted data can remain in our providers’ backups for a short time before those are overwritten.
Children, location, changes and contact
Children. Dayweave is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Where your data goes. Dayweave stores and processes data in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your data is transferred there.
Changes. If we change how Dayweave handles your data, we’ll update this page and its effective date. For significant changes we’ll also email account holders before they take effect.
Contact. Questions about this policy or your data go to Parker Brown Consulting at parker@parkerbrownconsulting.io.
